On the Computer All Day
If you’re like me then you’re probably on the computer all day. Between my research for my cat (lol) and researching new prospect and dealing with booking requests and posting on social media…you get the idea… I’m on the coomputer a lot and quite busy. One switch that I’ve made recently that has greatly improved my overall comfort and enjoyment of computer use is the change to mechanical keyboards.
It’s definitely one of those things were if you haven’t tried it yet, then you don’t really know what you are missing out on. Then when you get a chance to make the transition, you never look back. You will even be questioning yourself why you didn’t start using nice keyboards sooner. Some of you are probably thinking that mechanical keyboards are just for nerds that like to pimp out their computer setup. While this is still probably true, you don’t have to be some kind of tech enthusiast to enjoy a nice keyboard. For me, I don’t have a problem making a small investment when it comes to something that I use for hours on end, day in and day out.
I suggest you do a little bit of research and find one that matches your needs. I ended up getting what is called a 10 keyless keyboard – it doesn’t have the num pad on the right side which is nice for me because I actually have limited desk space (I’m already kind of used to it from having a Macbook for a while). If I had to make a personal recommendation, I would say go for the Coolermaster Quickfire, and it’s even available on Amazon.
